ADDitude magazine, a leading digital and print publisher of service journalism in mental health topics, seeks an organized, deadline-driven, self-driven project management specialist to join its editorial team under the WebMD umbrella.

We are seeking detail-oriented, highly organized, independent, and reliable editorial project management specialist who will produce cross-platform initiatives like ADHD Experts webinars, produce content that ranks high and generates interest, devise and execute impactful social media strategies, and contribute authoritative, well-written articles to ADDitudeMag.com.

The Editorial Project Management Specialist owns ADDitude’s weekly ADHD Experts webinar series — managing all aspects of webinar planning and production, plus communication and coordination with expert presenters. Additional responsibilities include social media strategy and execution — producing articles and other content in WordPress; posting to and moderating the company social accounts; generating digital content; and completing SEO projects.

A strong candidate will have the following:

  • project-management experience and strong adherence to deadlines
  • unwavering attention to detail
  • impeccable writing and editing skills (ideally a journalism-school graduate)
  • SEO training and experience
  • the ability to juggle multiple ongoing deadlines
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • previous experience with webinars, podcasts, and/or video content is a plus
  • experience with WordPress, Excel, Facebook Business Suite, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, and ahrefs is also a plus

Webinar Responsibilities

-Create new webinars in WordPress and GoToWebcast

-Coordinate with advertising team on sponsor messaging and logos

-Edit and traffic webinar agreements, presentation materials, and practice session logistics

-Edit PowerPoint presentations

-Execute post-production — creating a YouTube version of the webinar, gathering webinar analytics, enabling a replay page in WordPress, creating directory listings for experts)

-Respond to customer inquiries



-Write news reports for the website

-Write articles from user-generated content

-Write articles from expert transcripts

-Edit guest blogs for publication online



-Craft and schedule ADDitude social posts to promote new and strategically important content

-Report on social metrics

-Monitor comments and other engagement activity



-Update website landing pages with best-performing and highest-ranking articles

-Update internal links in high-ranking articles with new content

-Perform SEO reviews and updates on articles shared in newsletters and social channels



-Produce new articles, magazine features, downloads, and guest blogs in WordPress according to highest SEO and readability standards


Location: This is a remote or telecommuting role with the opportunity to work from WebMD’s headquarters in Manhattan if preferred.
