Position Summary:

communication, this is the position for you. As a Program Manager, you are responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. You will ensure the delivery and tactical implementation of project elements
while keeping within budget and maintaining timelines.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be a strategic partner to plan and implement multiple educational activities for pharmaceutical clients as outlined in the program’s proposal
  • Use a web-based project management tool to ensure development processes are followed and projects are on time and within budget and specification
  • Coordinate meeting material development and logistics for all events
  • Manage program budgets and track expenditures in our project management tool
  • Lead weekly status meetings and provide status reports to the entire project team
  • Communicate potential project delays and issues
  • Serve as main point of contact for external partners/vendors
  • Complete other responsibilities, as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5 years’ project management experience in the medical education/communications industry
  • Experience working in medical affairs a plus
  • Experience in an external client-facing environment
  • High professionalism, ability to work independently, and easy rapport in building collaborative work relationships
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills and possess an eye for details
  • Ability to provide creative solutions independently or within a team dynamic as issues arise
  • Excellent verbal communication, writing, and grammar skills
  • Above average ability to use Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience with web-based document sharing sites (such as SharePoint) and web-based project management tools (such as Workfront) a plus
  • Ability to travel 20-35% of the time or as needed (post-COVID-19)
