Position Overview

WebMD is seeking a Program Manager to own a variety of workflows associated with content published on The position supports our Exclusive Editorial Destination (EED) team. The EED team produces multimedia products, including videos, podcasts, and interactives

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Leveraging project management best practices to facilitate the development of three EED products:
  • Medscape Decision Point—an interactive video tool that guides health care professionals through a customized, disease-specific, decision tree
  • MDAngle video—a series of short videos featuring a medical expert discussing a specific healthcare topic
  • Fast Five Quiz—a five question quiz that tests one’s knowledge of a specific topic within a condition
  • Owning workflow timelines, schedule enforcement, and the creation and maintenance of reports to track the associated tasks on the above
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders across Editorial, Product, Marketing, Web Production, Video Post-Production, to ensure the successful (quality, time, costs) launch of the above
  • Initiating and facilitating appropriate communication—including risks escalation—across the Account Management, Sales, and Product Marketing teams
  • Point of contact for vendor relationships including the tracking of invoices

  • 3 – 6 years’ experience managing programs or projects
  • Exceptional organizational, operational, and project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly with spreadsheets and/or database reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player that takes on challenges with a positive attitude
  • The ability to work with cross-functional teams that sometimes have competing priorities
  • Experience and comfort working with project management/scheduling software

Desired Skills (Not Required):

  • Experience in healthcare and/or prior experience with medical publishing
  • CSM, CAPM or PMP certification
