Description

Medscape, a division of WebMD, develops and hosts physician portals and related mobile applications that make it easier for physicians and healthcare professionals to access clinical reference sources, stay abreast of the latest clinical information, learn about new treatment options, earn continuing medical education credits and communicate with peers.

The Project Manager, Sales Support applicant should be a highly-organized individual with the ability to prioritize and excel in a deadline-driven environment; provide detailed, clear and proactive communications; and demonstrate proficiency in project management, timeline execution, and internal negotiation. Successful applicants will be able to coordinate and execute cross-functional process initiatives, while aligning to Global Marketing Solutions team’s priorities. The Project Manager, Sales Support will serve as the internal steward on key process improvements and process maintenance to ensure the Global Marketing Solutions team can operate efficiently.


Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating overall Medscape process compliance and mastery
  • Independently creating and managing process improvement timelines and tasks
  • Assessing and providing accurate picture of project resourcing needs
  • Meeting consistently with internal teams to manage timelines, and progress on process improvements, including: identifying pain points and scoping out needs, leading internal meetings, requirements meetings, internal review meetings, and quality checks, and communicating updated process roll outs
  • Escalating potential project issues and delays to senior team leaders
  • Managing project’s scope, and leading scope escalation meetings
  • Managing acceleration requests and timeline negotiations
  • Managing custom data pulls and ad-hoc analysis and reports
  • Oversight of team’s processes within Salesforce and ensuring compliance
  • Setting up sold client campaign and deliverable details in Salesforce, to ensure all internal teams are able to execute on them
  • Collaborating with Global Marketing Solutions team members to manage pre sales tracking of complex integrated campaigns
  • Maintaining internal team’s trackers and reporting documentation of sold/exclusive products
  • Supporting overall team revenue goals
  • Conducting regular audits of project folders and server maintenance to ensure folder structure compliance
  • Working with internal departments to streamline processes for more efficient executions and processes

Job Qualifications
  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree preferred or will consider related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, responsible and result driven, solid communication skills
  • Self-starter, and ability to manage multiple tasks and cross-functional projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills
  • Experience working with Salesforce preferred
  • Familiarity with HCP-focused clients and pharmaceutical industry a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within digital and agency, healthcare experience preferred
