Job Summary

The Product Operations Manager is a strategic solutions role that is responsible for supporting the global business with the goal of improving and helping execute global product delivery. The ideal candidate will provide operational leadership and guidance as a subject matter expert for the global business, champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas. They should have experience developing and implementing new processes based on the constant need to drive efficiency and deliver complex digital campaigns on a global scale.  In addition, they must have strong project management and organizational skills as well experience working in pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Assessing and consulting on delivery potential for complex or custom proposals, pre-and post sale, with Product, Sales and internal delivery teams

  • Collaborating with Product and internal delivery teams to lead the operationalization of new Global products or initiatives, including providing guidance and training to Client Service on delivery

  • Act as point person for Client Services regarding all global Product/Process discussions to enable internal process decisions and external development progress to move forward 

  • Working  in close collaboration with other strategically aligned resources to optimize processes with a focus on client delivery expectations and provide a mechanism for more effective business practices

  • Partnering with Product team as necessary to establish and vet business rules and commercial viability of custom requests

  • Establishing an understanding of the business challenges, translating them into requirements, defining an approach and leading the internal teams to successfully implement solutions

  • Maintaining constant knowledge of global pharmaceutical company requirements, including but not limited to, regulatory guidance


  • BA/BS or equivalent years of experience

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional (and global) environment

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing, product operations, account management, project management, or other relevant field preferred

  • 4+ years relevant experience working in a high-volume, process-oriented environment with a focus on online content development preferred

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical and/or healthcare marketing

  • Experience using online workflow management tools (e.g. Workfront)

  • Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability handle multiple tasks/responsibilities simultaneously

  • High level of personal and professional accountability and the ability to work independently with minimal direction

  • Strong people skills to lead collaboration across organization
