Medscape Education is seeking an individual with experience in process and change management interested in working in the medical education field in our New York City offices. Continuous improvement is part of our mission and you will play a significant role in developing and implementing strategies that drive efficiencies in our organization especially as it pertains to the implementation of our product offerings. You will work alongside our Leadership Team and collaborate with multiple internal departments (Sales, Sales Support, Content Development, Multimedia, Online Production, Technology, and Accreditation) to support a wide variety of tactical and transformative projects aimed at achieving strategic and financial objectives and preparing the business for the future.


  • Work directly with the Technical & Ideation Product Team to transition new products from concept to fully operational
  • Lead small and large scale process and product implementation initiatives to ensure readiness for pilot and roll out. This could include assembling task forces, designing the process change, creating an implementation plan, developing training, identifying best practices, writing process documentation, and monitoring the impact
  • Work with key stakeholders to design, evaluate, pilot, and implement product operation process improvements that will support seamless implementation of new product ideas and product customization requests
  • Provide status updates, training, and consulting to stakeholders at all levels of the organization for process improvement and change/project management projects
  • Strategize with teams and internal partners to develop effective intervention plans for ensuring efficient operations, and creating an overall productive and engaging working environment for your team
  • Maintain friendly and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders through clear articulation and an effective communication style


  • Exposure to change management concepts, product operations, and/or operational/process improvement methodologies that contribute to an increase in productivity and profitability
  • Able to demonstrate support for innovation and for changes needed to improve the organization’s effectiveness; initiating, sponsoring, and implementing change; helping others to successfully manage change.
  • Demonstrated superior project management skills, especially in independently leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and have the ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan
  • Prioritize competing implementation projects based on a thorough understanding of the importance of the project to the business
  • Ability to efficiently coordinate and work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a highly deadline-driven environment; shift gears quickly and effectively as needed

What You’ll Need to Succeed (Requirements)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of related experience 
  • 5+ years  experience specializing in business, project management, organizational change or process improvement (preferably in medical publishing, CME environment, or internet technologies)
  • Certification or experience in Lean Six Sigma principles and/or Project Management a plus
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the medical education industry concepts and principles a plus
  • Experience with web-based project management tools (such as Workfront, MS Project) required
  • Excellent computer skills that includes working on shared networks and cloud-based systems, and a high degree of proficiency using G-Suite (Gmail, Goggle Drive) and Microsoft Office suite required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); web-based data and document sharing sites (SharePoint) a plus
  • Experience with web-based training systems (such as Learning Pool) a plus
  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize, make decisions and work independently
