Medscape, a division of WebMD, develops and hosts physician portals and related mobile applications that make it easier for physicians and healthcare professionals to access clinical reference sources, stay abreast of the latest clinical information, learn about new treatment options, earn continuing medical education credits and communicate with peers.

Medscape Education Global is looking for a highly motivated, detail-orientated, performance-driven, Digital Marketing Analyst to join the Global Audience Engagement team.

The Digital Marketing Analyst’s primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Support the campaign delivery and performance towards agreed KPIs across all programs.
  • As a strategic partner, work collaboratively with multiple internal teams.
  • Help identify and resolve queries in an effective manner

Role and responsibilities

Reporting to the Program Manager the Digital Marketing Analyst will:

  • Work with the Audience Engagement team to configure and execute digital marketing tactics for all activities to achieve traffic and revenue goals.
  • Develop an expert understanding of internal resources (tools, data etc.) in order to inform optimal approach.
  • Help facilitate project execution within defined specifications:
  • Follow up on all scheduled tasks to ensure no bottlenecks or delays.
  • Work with our web-based project management tool to ensure processes are followed and projects delivered.
  • Contribute to the management of project template timelines and workflows to reflect the unique aspects to each project.
  • Collaborate with the relevant internal teams to ensure the correct scheduling and execution of selected online tactics.
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve any issues that may impact on delivery or performance.
  • Work alongside the relevant internal teams to ensure the delivery of all tactical marketing activities.
  • Partner with relevant internal teams (Program Management, Production, Content etc.) to surface and develop improvements to processes, delivery and timelines.
  • Work with the Data Analytics team to manage and improve metric/program tracking abilities.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years relevant digital marketing experience.
  • Education: BA/BS in marketing is preferred.
  • Comfortable with data and can use it to understand problems and identify solutions.
  • Experienced in managing projects and internal relationships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel etc. Familiar with CRM systems and/or project management software.
  • Data-driven thinking – comfortable representing and communicating this.
