Position Overview:
As a Data Operations Engineer, you will develop and maintain database functionality to support corporate products and services. Primarily, your focus will be on mastering healthcare data for our Ignite Growth Platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional database and product development teams using Agile / Scrum and open source technologies.
What you will do:
- Oversee data transformation, normalization, cleansing, aggregation, workflow management and business rule application
- Load, process and manage incoming data feeds
- Use SQL to analyze healthcare and marketing data sets
- Respond to ad-hoc questions and assist our technical support team as necessary
- Be the subject matter expert for consumption layer data, providing guidance to support teams on best practices, capabilities and limitations of the data
- Continuous improvement of our automated and manual data processes, improving our efficiency and quality
What you will bring:
- SQL Programming / ETL and data management experience
- Strong familiarity of Relational Database Management Systems
- Fluency in several programming languages such as Python or Java
- Experience working with AWS, Jenkins, Docker, and git
- Define and manage critical data using Master Data Management solutions
- Ability to perform Unit Tests and internal QA checks
- Good collaboration and idea sharing in a team environment
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, completion of a recognized programming bootcamp, or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience with healthcare data is a plus
