PROFILE:
Medscape Education is seeking a motivated, adaptable, team-oriented Accreditation Manager to support our Accreditations and Compliance department. What you will do:
- Assist the Accreditation and Compliance team with maintaining accreditations by ensuring compliance in our activities and overall accreditations program
- Assist in the research and identification of new accreditation opportunities globally
- Collaborate with other stakeholders and foster relationships to promote new accreditations
- Assist in ensuring activity files contain all required documentation
- Process, assign, and return accredited activity reviews
- Review online activities prior to posting on the website
- Use our web-based project management tool to ensure processes are followed and reviews and postings are on time
- Assist in the development, review, and timely submission of accreditation activity applications
- Complete activity applications and register activities in accreditation portals
- Register and update MOC (maintenance of certification) activities in accreditation portals
- Communicate potential issues or compliance concerns and work with Program Managers, Medical Education Directors, Compliance Reviewers, and other departments to address and overcome any issues
- Input accreditation project-related expenses for activities as needed
What you will need:
- Management of project timelines and accurate delivery of projects in a highly deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional internal teams based across multiple time zones
- Excellent digital skills that includes working remotely on shared networks and cloud-based systems, and a high degree of proficiency using G-Suite (Gmail, Google Drive) and Microsoft Office suite required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); and web-based data and document sharing sites (SharePoint)
- Bachelors’ Degree required; Masters preferred or equivalent years of experience
- Minimum of three years’ project and process management experience required; within the healthcare, medical education, or publishing environment strongly preferred
- Knowledge of accreditation regulations globally (EACCME, EBAC a plus)
- Program management experience within the healthcare, medical education, or publishing environment strongly preferred
