Job Description:                              

We are seeking an experienced project/program manager to manage/track/coordinate a variety of workflows associated with Decision Point, a new Medscape video product. This role will be a key member of the Immersive Editorial Experience (IEE) team and will help develop and manage a process that allows the product to scale successfully

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Ownership of workflow timelines, schedule enforcement, and the creation and maintenance of reports to track the associated tasks of hundreds of videos
  • Assist other teams including Account Management, Sales, and Marketing on marketing drivers development, quality assurance, and business intelligence
  • Initiate and facilitate appropriate communication across Sales, Marketing, Studio, Product and Editorial teams
  • Provide general operational support to the IEE operations manager, editorial directors and associate editors, as needed 
  • Assisting with Decision Point budget and expense tracking
  • Working with Video Post-Production to QA DP videos, and ensure tracking of files through proper locations
  • Providing additional operational support of other IEE products, as needed

Required Skills:

  • BA, BS, or equivalent relevant experience 
  • Knowledge of online publishing, and/or audiovisual production, processes and procedures
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly with spreadsheets and database reporting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Desired (not required) Skills:

  • Medical knowledge and/or prior experience with medical publishing helpful
  • Working knowledge of Workfront or equivalent project management/scheduling software
