ophthalmic lenses, contact lenses, and eyecare supplies and equipment, distributing those
through specialized print, electronic, and web vehicles. Eye care professionals use our
products to check product specifications, set pricing, verify managed care information, and
manage their inventory systems.
General Description
The Digital Asset Specialist is responsible for operating, maintaining, and updating the
Company’s automated product photography system to photograph frames and/or accessories.
The position also assists in maintaining the database and assist in Digital Asset Management
(DAM) reporting, image audits, and other image reporting as needed.
Qualifications
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strict attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and critical
deadlines
• Effective multi-tasker who works well with minimal supervision on a production basis
• Some knowledge of digital product photo workflow, studio lighting, and/or DSLRs
• Adobe Photoshop a plus
• Experience in digital asset management systems preferred
Job Responsibilities
Operate automated product photography system
Process large volumes of product on an ongoing, deadline basis
Maintain and archive database of raw images
DAM reporting, image auditing
Ensure sample frames are moved along the process in an efficient manner
First round of quality control for product images
Resolve image discrepancies in database
Create scripts using the automated product photography system
Troubleshoot internal photography issues and procedures :
