Position Summary:


At MedscapeLIVE! you will be responsible for building and managing client relationships, collaborating with multi-disciplinary work teams across the organization to enable flawless execution and client satisfaction. The applicant should be a highly organized individual with the ability to prioritize and excel in a deadline-driven environment. The applicant should also have excellent problem-solving skills, critical-thinking, conflict resolution and be adept as internalizing and distilling issues and providing real-time guidance to team members. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Proficiency in navigating a matrix organization, collaborating with multi-disciplinary project teams, meeting client and management expectations, and ensuring programs remain on target and within agreed-upon parameters
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining client relationships through focused attention to detail, team leadership, clear, concise communications, and a sense of urgency
  • Work to ensure there is a seamless handoff for new opportunities from the sales team to the project execution team and relay client requests to the team in a timely manner and with defined next steps/deliverables
  • Establish a comprehensive program tracking report to share with clients on the status of their live/virtual events
  • Establish and maintain a strong knowledge of client organizations, products, disease states, and medical education
  • Schedule and conduct kick-off, interim, and post-event meetings for each project, and provide ongoing updates to client and team as required on each initiative to ensure successful management and completion
  • Provide senior level support for Brand and MLR/PRC engagement
  • First point of escalation for PMs and internal teams for ongoing workflow questions, client issues, etc
  • Serve as a collaborative partner to consistently provide value and expertise from project inception to execution and minimize our exposure and risk to successful, on-time delivery of all projects

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent years of related experience
  • Minimum five years of account management, production, events manager, client services experience required; within the healthcare environment or medical education environment strongly preferred
  • MLR experience with Medical Legal Regulatory 
  • Prior working experience in Workfront is a plus
  • Experience in an external client-facing environment
  • Strong technical knowledge in virtual and streaming platforms is a plus
  • Highly professional, ability to work independently, and easy rapport in building collaborative work relationships
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills and possess an eye for details
  • Ability to provide creative solutions independently or within a team dynamic as issues arise  
  • Excellent verbal communication, writing, and grammar skills
  • Ability to work extended hours to meet clients’ business needs, if needed. Travel may be required
