Who do we need?
With 5+ years of related experience, you have proven skills across planning, creative and strategic thinking, as well as the ability to manage accounts and account teams. You are a strong leader with excellent writing and communications skills and an ability to translate client needs into project plans. You can develop and implement external engagement campaigns for your client. Ideally, you should have agency/consulting or related experience with a background in healthcare and wellness PR. You are adept at drawing upon previous sector experience to provide clients with knowledge and counsel– all complemented by your sector specific client servicing skills and media relations with key journalists in both horizontal and vertical media.
What will you be doing?
Client Relations:
- Responsible for the day to day running of client business, the AM will take a lead role ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within budget
- Be a key player in supporting the clients at events and activations
- Contribute to cross-agency meetings, where relevant.
Strategy and Planning:
- Lead on and develop quarterly plans that include research insights, media outreach tactics, creative ideas and KPIs.
- Contribute to annual strategies and other foundational documents such as key message houses, crisis communications plans, stakeholder mapping and thought leadership plans.
Content Development:
- Develop a range of external and internal content including press releases, key message documents, speeches, memos, op-eds, features, etc.
- Assist in setting and meeting campaign measurement and evaluation criteria.
Industry and Market knowledge:
- Maintain a high understanding of client’s business and work to create a good knowledge of current developments and trends affecting the clients’ industries and markets
- Have knowledge of the role of social media channels in PR and how to best utilise each channel to the clients’ benefit
- Demonstrate understanding of the clients’ digital work and provide counsel to team on social media content and activations
Account Team Management:
- Contributing guidance and ideas for the account teams to implement and develop client work
- Assist in financial management for clients, including supplier coordination and activity reports.
What do you need to apply for this role?
- Minimum 4years of experience in a professional agency environment.
- Bilingual is a must - proficiency in English & Arabic
- Proficient in crafting proposals.
- Active involvement in pitching initiatives.
- Capable of conducting thorough market research.
- Demonstrated expertise in specialized industry sectors.
- Proven track record in team management.
- Experience in media pitching and establishing effective liaisons.
- Competence in strategic PR planning.
