We currently have an opening for an Environments Designer. This position is based in our Mumbai office (Jogeshwari West). WD offers a hybrid working model in India - 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home. Our work hours are Monday - Friday, 10AM - 7PM. No weekend work hours.
As an Environments Designer, you will participate in the process of developing, designing, and preparing design concepts that lead to brand-based solutions. You will be responsible for creating design ideas and drawings and communicating the rationale behind these concepts through your knowledge of space planning, fixture design, and fabrication.
Necessary Experience:
- Bachelor's in Architecture, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Environmental Design or equivalent
- Prior work experience in interiors, hand sketching abilities are ideal
- Working knowledge of Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, or other 3D modeling software that enables effective communication of design
- Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD is helpful
- Experience working with projects in a variety of client industries, such as restaurant, retail, and/or healthcare
