As a Jr. IT Support Technician, you'll be providing support to internal end-users on a variety of IT issues. Our IT Help Desk is based in our Mumbai office, providing support for our Associates located in a variety of locations across India and working on-site in Mumbai. In this role, you will:

  • Identify, research and resolve technical problems for all levels of Associates via phone, email, and direct requests
  • Install, support, and configure hardware and software as needed to support the business operation units
  • Support resolution of help desk incidents through troubleshooting and repair of PC and Mac hardware and software, both desktops and laptops
  • Provide recommendations and "how-to" training to less experienced end-users on PC or software basics, plus helping with phones, tablets, and digital camera configurations
  • Record, document, and track work progress using departmental tracking methods to ensure a timely resolution
  • Other tasks as needed such as software/hardware audits, telecom and computer equipment setup/moves/changes, and assisting with equipment and network troubleshooting and repair
  • Participate in the IT Team's weekly rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours support for critical issues

Location: This role is available in our Mumbai Office (Jogeshwari West). Our work hours are Monday - Friday, 10AM - 7PM. No weekend work hours. On-call hours will be necessary, but rotate weekly within the IT team.

Necessary Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or relevant field or equivalent professional knowledge gained by combination of education and/or work experience
  • Prior experience in IT technical support services role is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude, patience, and strong customer service skills are necessary 
  • Must demonstrate strong active listening skills to diagnose issues and provide accurate solutions
