What You’ll Do: 
As the Social & Influencer Director for the prestigious L’Oréal Groupe, you will be responsible for driving influencer strategy and planning, managing talent negotiations, and leading a high-performing team to deliver outstanding influencer marketing results.          This role requires a strategic leader who can balance creative innovation with data-driven decision-making, ensuring that our influencer marketing initiatives align with business goals and set new benchmarks in the industry. 
The role of the Social & Influencer Director is to lead one of 3 divisions (CPD, LUXE, LDB & PPD) within the team and collaboratively work with the other Directors in the team to operate as ONE L’Oréal. At time that may mean working on and leading multi brand or category campaigns outside of your divisional remit (i.e. Win in Skin; Win in Makeup; Win In Haircare). As the divisional Lead, you are responsible for the output of your team, with overall responsibility for the workflow and quality control of activity.   
Your Responsibilities: 
  • Leadership: Lead the social and influencer marketing division, providing direction and strategic vision to the team. 
  • Talent Negotiation: Lead negotiations with talent agents and influencers, ensuring partnerships are aligned with brand values and deliver strong ROI. 
  • Accountability: Drive ideas that strategies in content that reward key KPI’s and metrics ie. Share of Engagement (SOE), Share of Influence (SOI) and Share of Voive (SOV). You are responsible for the end to end management of campaigns within your division.  
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of social and influencer marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. 
  • Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute the annual influencer marketing strategy, including budget planning, goal-setting, and performance tracking. 
  • Campaign Oversight: Oversee the development, execution, and optimisation of influencer campaigns, ensuring alignment with L’Oreal’s broader marketing objectives. 
  • Budget Management: Lead budgeting processes for influencer marketing initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control. 
  • Reporting & Analytics: Oversee reporting on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and future planning. 
 
Skills You Bring: 
  • Expertise in Social & Influencer Marketing: You have deep experience in digital/social and influencer marketing. 
  • Management: Experience managing a team with a strong track record in how you get the most out of your team - know how to inspire, collaborate, and get the best from your people. You have experience in organising and delegating work which ensures efficient running of campaigns. 
  • Planning & Strategy: You have planning experience in Influencer Marketing and have the ability to blend ideas with data to develop campaigns that push boundaries. 
  • Strong Communication & Client Skills: You thrive in client-facing roles, presenting innovative ideas and building trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders. 
  • Passion for Beauty & Innovation: You live and breathe beauty and understand how social media and technology are transforming the industry. 
  • Can-do attitude and solution based thinking – You understand that social and influencer marketing is a fast paced, always on, constant evolving media channel and you have the desire to lead, evolve, change strategies as required to stay ahead. You understand that what may have worked in the past with content may not work tomorrow and that excites you.
