$87.03 - $116.01
Summary of Duties: The Staff Nurse III is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides fiscally responsible care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation and other health care team members. He/she demonstrates excellence in nursing practice, thoroughness, creativity, leadership, education and participation in unit projects.
Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor's degree in nursing or Master's Degree in nursing - PLUS experience as outlined below.
Licensure/Certification Requirements: Current California RN license required. AHA BLS required. ACLS preferred.
Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in nursing: 2 years' experience as RN and 2 years' experience in specialty immediate prior to application. Master's degree in nursing: 2 years' experience as RN and 1 years' experience in specialty immediate prior to application.
Special skills or abilities: Ability to work productively in a busy and complex environment. Effective written and oral communication skills in English. Completion of the Staff Nurse III application packet and portfolio.
