Lymphedema Therapist - Lymphedema Clinic - Full Time 8-hr, Days
Salary Range: $47.86-$64.65
Summary of Duties: The Lymphedema Therapist I within the legal scope of practice, will provide professional Lymphedema Services specific to patient's age and diagnosis including evaluation, planning individual patient care programs, treatments, documentation, educating patient and family, conferring with other professional and performing other related duties as required. Will work in a variety of settings including all floors of the acute care hospital and satellite lymphedema clinic. Will take an active role in patient and staff safety planning.
Educational Requirements: Bachelors, Masters or DPT degree in Physical Therapy from accredited program of Physical Therapy recognized by State of California DCA required.
Licensure/Certification Requirements: Holds current California Physical Therapy license required. Holds current certification from approved school in Lymphedema treatment with at least 135 hours of instruction in lymphedema treatment. AHA BLS required.
Experience Requirements: Successful completion of internship in Physical Disability setting required. 2-3 years in medical setting.
Special Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of principles/practices of Physical Therapy. Ability to develop and maintain effective leadership and working relationships. Ability to analyze situations and take appropriate action. Ability to express oneself clearly in speaking and writing.
