 JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for assembling all documents required for permitting, submitting and obtaining all building and utility permits per the lot purchase schedule. As well as, assist in closing document preparation and distribution.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble all requirement documents for permit submittal to various municipalities including but not limited to : o Job specific plans

o Floor and roof trusses layout and engineering

o Energy Code Compliance Worksheet

o Appointment of Lien Agent

o Plot plans

o Permit application

  • Monitor and follow up on permit status to ensure timely permit issuance
  • Update Production report as needed
  • Perform check requests for all permits and utility applications
  • Compile and distribute start packages to Builders
  • Ability to submit and pick up permits in all municipalities for the Division
  • Submit and pick up Utility permits in all municipalities for the Division
  • Resolve permitting concerns that may arise
  • Prepare final Builder Document package to deliver to the Sales Studio or closing attorney to include: o 1099 A& B-request and prepare

o Final Survey-request from Surveyor

o Warranty of Completion-prepare

o Deed-request and prepare for signature

o Lien Waivers-prepare

o Coordinate key delivery to Sales Studio or closing attorney

  • Maintain closing document tracking report

 

PREREQUISITES

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Must be a Notary Public or obtain within 2 weeks of employment
  • Construction knowledge
  • Ability to understand construction plans
  • High level of Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in continuous improvement environment

  • Purchasing Assistant
