About the role
Our ideal Business Development Representative (BDR) candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach, strengthens client relationships and uncovers business opportunities that can boost revenue and set our company apart within a competitive market. The BDR is a professional who is confident on the phone and thrives on prioritizing a high volume of daily dials.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Generation:
  • Research and identify potential clients, markets, and business opportunities.
  • Utilize various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking to generate leads.
  • Qualify leads based on specific criteria and prioritize them for further engagement.
  1. Prospecting and Outreach:
  • Actively reach out to prospective clients to introduce the company's products or services.
  • Engage in initial conversations to understand the prospect's needs and assess potential fit.
  1. Relationship Building:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Nurture leads and move them through the sales funnel by providing relevant information and addressing concerns.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices.
  1. Data Management:
  • Keep accurate records of all interactions in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Provide regular reports on lead generation and conversion metrics.
  1. Market Research:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams based on customer insights.

Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 1-2 years as an individual contributor in sales or BDR position with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  2. Post secondary education or equivalent experience
  3. Experience communicating through LinkedIn and Sales Navi, as well as through video conferencing software like GMeet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  4. Salesforce or other CRM experience is an asset.
  5. Valid passport for market travel opportunities an asset

Hybrid Work Details: We are a hybrid workplace, allowing employees to work remotely from home. However, this position requires one in-office day per month on pre-set dates, during which all company employees are expected to attend. Our office is located at 100 Dundas Street, London, Ontario. Additionally, you may be asked to come into the office as needed with reasonable notice.
