The Digital Media Supervisor is responsible for the strategy and planning of digital media for large consumer packaged goods clients. They will lead media plan development in a high-performance, multi-discipline environment. 

The Supervisor must possess the ability to provide client and agency recommendations, be fully versed in digital media touchpoints, and serve as a strategic media leader. This individual will be client-facing, guide the strategic role of paid media, and implement media tactics which result in client growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains a comprehensive media strategy which defines how paid media will be applied to increase engagement, visibility and traffic across client initiatives
  • Oversees translation of client program objectives into strategic and tactical media recommendations
  • Ensures quality and timely delivery of assigned media campaign
  • Defines key performance indicators and implements measurement, analytics, and reporting in coordination with analytics team
  • Collaborates with strategy, account and creative teams to develop campaign ideas, content and promotions
  • Leads coordination with account, strategy and creative teams to gain a deep understanding of the program architecture, creative platform, offers/incentives, and consumer experience.
  • Key point of contact for media vendor relationships
  • Educates client and internal stakeholders on program performance
  • Oversees the centralization and analysis of all campaign results
  • Helps to activate digital media management standards, policies and rules of engagement
  • Identifies emerging trends and technologies and communicate this knowledge clearly and concisely
  • Serves as a trusted resource for clients and agency to optimize process and programs, reporting, analysis of key learnings and application of best practices

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4-6 years of media experience working in an agency setting
  • Must have a strong level of understanding of digital media channels; preferably with CPG clients and retailers
  • Experience with retailer ecosystems, i.e. Walmart, Roundel, KPM preferred
  • Able to communicate clearly, thoroughly, succinctly and in a timely manner both verbally and in writing; able to respond to comments, suggestions and criticisms in a thoughtful and constructive manner
  • Strong analytical skills with strong attention to detail; translates data into a compelling story
  • Presenting complicated ideas in a simple, easy to understand and creative style
  • Analyzing large amounts of data and compile findings in a brief, logical manner
  • Competence with media buying software, DDS preferred
  • Familiarity with Prisma and MediaOcean or equivalent software preferred
  • Able to build relationships and collaborate effectively with clients, agency partners, other departments and teams to successfully deliver quality work
  • Understanding of new/emerging media developments and sharing with the internal broader team
