Where you shine

The Associate Media Manager will be responsible for planning, negotiating and executing omnichannel performance media strategies, as part of the Omnichannel Media Team. The Associate Media Manager role is an opportunity to begin your career and learn the ins and outs of performance media and retail media, with the added benefit of training and development programs offered by VML Commerce. 

What your success will look like

  • Learning about client’s business and needs including the industry, category and competitors  
  • Collaborating with teammates across multiple disciplines in service of client business 
  • Acting as a liaison between the media and internal teams (such as Creative, Strategy and Analytics) to ensure that project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met 
  • Assisting in omnichannel media strategy, development and execution  
  • Stewarding omnichannel media plans from negotiation through optimization 
  • Maintaining a pulse on industry trends, vendor opportunities, and current events that affect clients business 

Who you are and what you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or related field (or the equivalent combination of education and experience) 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel) 
  • Keen attention to detail  
  • Organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Ability to thrive in a team setting 
  • Desire to learn and lean into new opportunities 
  • Enthusiasm and motivation for the marketing world
