The Connections Manager, Social assists in developing cross-platform social strategies customized to each client’s goals. As Connections Manager, you will have a passion for social media and how brands come to life in the space to engage with their audience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing communications and content strategies that leverage social platforms, influencers, and content partnerships to drive business results for the client
  • Develop content calendars and scheduling cadence for content as needed
  • Conduct comprehensive competitive research with implications for clients in the social and mobile space
  • Assist in developing and owning the social voice for a brand
  • Monitor social space for trends and cultural moments important to the brand & the brand’s target audience
  • Evaluate and present social findings and recommendations for implementation
  • Partner with Insights & Analytics to unlock insights through social listening and research that can be applied to social strategy
  • Develop and deliver effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) for teams and clients
  • Stay current on the ever-evolving social and mobile industry and inform clients about new industry developments that impact them with timely points of view.
  • Assist in creating community engagement and crisis response strategies for clients
  • Serve as a point of contact for in-the-moment and time-sensitive social media requests
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Skills & Experience

  • At least two to three years of social media experience, agency experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Understanding of paid and earned social media
  • Working knowledge of basic HTML, excel, and Keynote/PowerPoint
  • Experience with a social management system like Sprinklr, Spredfast or similar
  • Experience with an asset management and calendar software like Opal or similar
