The Connections Supervisor, Social, oversees the day-to-day social strategy for our clients and brands, ensuring all projects are completed and executed to the client’s expectations. The Connections Supervisor also mentors junior team members in their learning and understanding of the social landscape and the social strategy planning process. This requires that the person in this role knows the ins and outs of each social platform and how to implement best practices across all platforms to drive results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of communications and content strategies that leverage social platforms, influencers, and content partnerships to drive business results for the client
  • Maintain a close relationship with leadership teams from partner media agencies, public relations contacts and vendor partners
  • Serve as a main contact for social activation planning and execution during campaign launches
  • Partner with the planning and creative teams to unlock the best ideas by bringing the key platforms, partners and influencers to the table
  • Represent and own the social voice for a brand in creative concepting
  • Partner with Insights/Analytics and the Media Team to develop campaign reporting detailing final campaign performance against goals and highlight critical learnings
  • Organize, prioritize and manage work flow to support junior teams
  • Develop and deliver effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) for team, client and external audiences
  • Stay current on the constantly changing social and mobile industry and inform clients about new industry developments that impact them by providing input on teams’ POVs
  • Collaborate with other internal Connections experts to showcase strategic thinking across the agency
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
  • At least five to six years of social media experience, agency experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication or relevant field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong understanding of paid and earned social media
  • Working knowledge of basic PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Keynote, Outlook
  • Experience with a social management system like Sprinklr, Spredfast or similar
  • Experience with an asset management and calendar software like Opal or similar
  • Facebook Blueprint certification
  • Twitter Flight School certification
