VMLY&R seeks a Senior Manager, Global People Platforms who will partner with key stakeholders, partners and vendors to deliver innovative HR technology solutions to manage VMLY&R's workforce and enable people-related data.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the HR systems subject matter expert on the global people team to together deliver results on critical HR technology initiatives including global implementations, integrations, and propriety development, from scoping to deployment
  • Manage portfolio of HR platforms and their related configuration, integrations and workflows, advising on best practices
  • Drive world-class employee experiences and operational excellence through strategic process, data and platform management
  • Ensure proper stakeholders are being appropriately engaged and kept informed throughout project lifecycles; cultivate relationships to enhance communication, collaboration, and outcomes
  • Lead dispersed team of direct reports and colleagues to develop and grow the team’s capabilities to enable delivery against current and emerging business needs
  • Ensure HR team is educated on platform capabilities to maximize both utilization and alignment to organizational goals, standards and priorities, provide training on self-service tools to access, understand and act on people data, and that troubleshooting support is provided as needed
  • Ensure appropriate documentation of business processes and systems functionality is maintained, including workflows, program functions and steps to follow
  • Continuously assess and respond to evolving requirements and make recommendations for updates and improvements
  • Implement strategies to ensure data integrity and compliance throughout the employee life cycle in accordance with business, security, and privacy requirements
  • Provide various levels of Administrator support to HRIS, ATS, Performance Management System, LMS, Employee Recognition System, and others

Candidate Profile

  • Subject matter expertise of HR systems, with 6+ years of experience administering, transforming, analyzing, configuring, and/or implementing HR technology programs, including HRIS/HCM, ATS, Learning, Performance. Workday experience a plus.
  • 3+ years of practitioner experience working with various HR technology tools
  • Broad knowledge of core HR practices and concepts a plus, ideally with a specialization in global HR platforms
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin preferred
  • Strong technical acumen with HRIS data management, manipulating data, database concepts, integrating systems, designing reports, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of integration and management of external vendors
  • Proven ability to work and lead on both well-defined and ambiguous projects, and help to provide clarity, define priorities and shape outcomes
  • Experience with all phases of implementation in fast-moving environment with numerous, dispersed and often competing stakeholders
  • Able to maintain high degree of confidentiality
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and focus on accuracy
  • Maneuver easily from big picture to detail and back…quickly
  • Work curiously, anticipate questions, think ahead and plan for contingencies
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Project Management experience or certification preferred, Smartsheet experience is also a plus
  • Excellent influence and communication skills, including articulating a vision and communicating complex, technical information to various audiences
