Position at VMLY&R

About Us

At VMLY&R, we create connected brands. We resist the usual ways of seeing, doing, and thinking — harnessing creativity, technology, and culture — to reimagine the entire connected consumer experience. Our goal? To create work that becomes part of people's lives, to drive value for our clients and, in the best of cases, to impact the world.

The Detroit Experience Studio (DES) is committed to building excitement, access, and knowledge to inspire Detroit's black and brown high school students to explore a creative future. DES brings awareness where there is no informed path, increases students' career opportunities, and reduces barriers to promote a thriving, equitable entry into our industry.

The team leverages vast industry experience to help students discover and define their creative passions through hands-on learning and unique real-world experience. DES will empower participants with tools and knowledge foundational to any career development and provide a roadmap for the skills necessary to succeed, delivered in a safe space where students feel comfortable experimenting and discovering.

DES will serve as a pathway for rising talent and amplifying a diverse voice within the industry. Whether students want to finesse their abilities or simply explore if this field is right for them, the Detroit Experience Studio exists to promote creative leaders and provide a path for students to flourish among the best and brightest talent.
