The Senior Social Strategist Social, is the day-to-day social “go-to” on the team. The Senior Social Strartegist leads social projects from briefing all the way through execution and measurement, delivering cutting edge, high-quality social programs that are customized to each client’s goals. This requires that the person in this role knows the ins and outs of each social platform and how to implement best practices across all platforms to drive results.


  • Develop communications and content strategies that leverage social platforms, influencers, and content partnerships to drive business results for the client
  • Collaborate and maintain close relationship with activation partners, media-buying departments and media agencies to create compelling reports, detail the reach of social media efforts and draw conclusions for future campaigns
  • Conduct comprehensive competitive research to communicate implications for clients in the social and mobile space
  • Partner with the creative team to unlock the best creative ideas by bringing key platforms, partners and influencers to the table
  • Assist in developing, owning and evolving the social voice for a brand
  • Deploy community engagement and crisis response strategies for clients
  • Oversees development of content and editorial calendars as needed
  • Evaluate and present social findings and recommendations for implementation
  • Partner with Insights & Analytics to unlock insights through social listening and research that can be applied to social strategy
  • Develop and deliver effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) for teams and clients
  • Stay current on the constantly changing social and mobile industry and inform clients about new industry developments that impact them with POVs
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills & Experience  

  • At least three to five years of social media experience, agency experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication or relevant field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong understanding of paid and earned social media
  • Working knowledge of basic HTML, excel, and Keynote/PowerPoint
    Experience with a social management system like Sprinklr, Khoros or similar
  • Experience with an asset management and calendar software like Opal or similar
  • Facebook Blueprint certification
  • Twitter Flight School certification
