As a Managing Director in the Research Studio, you will work to power curiosity throughout the organization in an effort to continually push our knowledge and thinking further. This role is rooted in conducting primary (qualitative and quantitative) research, along with secondary and social listening exploration. But it isn’t just the status quo, it’s taking research and melding it with a strategic mind to create innovative and agile approaches to learning more.

We are currently seeking a Managing Director to shape and grow our research offering, with the following skills and experience:

  • Ability to foresee future research needs (internally/externally) and innovate against it
  • A proven track record of developing and scaling new research IP
  • Well-versed in multi-method approaches and leading edge thinking in the industry
  • Responsible for developing business goals, objectives and strategies to ensure growth and strategic relevancy of offerings 
  • Key accountability for creating business value across agency client roster in NA
  • Works collaboratively with strategy, experience design, client engagement, and creative teams to inform solutions that meet customer and business needs
  • Consults with internal and external clients to understand strategic research objectives and propose the appropriate approach to get to game-changing insights
  • Designs and leads research from beginning to end
  • Concisely weaves together insights to create a compelling and human story that sparks new thinking
  • Lead and inspire a growing group of creative researchers, while building world class capabilities and thought leadership

 Required Experience:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and a multidisciplinary background, including developing research strategy, consumer insight, and/or account planning
  • 15+ years of overall research, strategy, or planning experience with at least 5 years of strategic leadership experience with clients
  • Global experience in market research is preferred
