The Fullstack Team Lead is an innovative leader that provides creative new concepts and agile best practices to current and ongoing IT initiatives. The Fullstack Team Lead develops software and maintains and integrates computing applications, including company-developed and commercial off-the-shelf software. This leader will be supporting a team of developers that are maintaining and upgrading a business-critical tool for our operations department, in addition to, current and future client-based initiatives. As a leader, you will communicate technology-related knowledge, business process enhancements, and best practices with both technical and non-technical audiences to ensure plans are in accordance with the agreed-upon roadmap.

 

You Will

  • Provide leadership in the development and implementation of short- and long-term technology plans and related policies and procedures
  • Lead the successful completion of major projects by investigating, analyzing, and resolving complex application problems
  • Design, code, compile and test complex websites and applications while employing standards, security methods, and tools related to building enterprise and SPA web applications
  • Provides programming and project leadership and training to junior developers
  • Work with project management and leadership to provide time estimates and schedules for projects (communicate regularly with department management and functional users on project requirements, activities, and status)
  • Serve as primary technical liaison with customers and consults with customers to share technology-related knowledge, business process enhancements, and best practices
  • Leads technical review of feasibility studies designs documentation and validation reviews
  • Apply process management techniques to improve software engineering standards, processes, and techniques

 

You Have

  • 5+ years of full-stack software development experience – with an emphasis on architecting, designing, implementing, testing, and delivering highly scalable web and client-server solutions
  • 4+ years of experience utilizing Java/Object Oriented programming
  • Proficiency with any of the following SPA Frameworks: EmberJS, VueJs, React, Angular
  • Experience maintaining Git or other Source Code Management Repository
  • Experience in planning, developing, managing, and executing short- and long-range technology plans and transitioning and transforming the delivery of information-based services through the use of innovative strategies
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) using CI/CD deployment pipelines and cloud capabilities.  Including the ability to communicate with a DevOps counterpart to plan, build, and troubleshoot release management issues.
  • Positive and professional communication skills - working with internal end-users, helping to solve issues with the application.  (Note: The application does not require 24/7 support, but occasionally releases or troubleshooting may need to be addressed outside of normal business hours)
