This is a position on the Red Fuse agency team for our global Consumer Package Goods (CPG) client. The agency is fully-integrated, with team members assigned to multiple marketing disciplines (consumer advertising, shopper marketing, eCommerce, media, public relations, etc.). Everyone sits together in one building, enabling speed, efficiency, and connectivity. The team is responsible for Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) across numerous CPG brands. The agency is global in nature, with offices spread throughout the world. Thus, the agency’s work for the client runs in over 200 countries.

Red Fuse seeks an Associate Director, CRM who is versed in relationship marketing, customer journey building, multi-channel communication strategies and data-driven approaches. They should possess a strong understanding of CRM technology and be able to stay current with the latest industry platforms and capabilities. They will play a key role in the success of enterprise CRM programs by developing end-to-end customer journeys that map to business objectives and multi-channel strategies.
Responsibilities
  • Develop relationship marketing strategies, customer journey plans, and multi-channel communication strategies fueled by a keen eye for data and insights
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and knowledge of other MarTech platform capabilities to build a personalized and connected experience for customers
  • Ability to make strategic recommendations in relation to new audience segments, test & learns, tool utilization, etc.
  • Ability to strategize and build multi-channel customer journeys including email, SMS, and direct mail
  • Understand the processes to execute across multiple CRM platforms
  • The ability to lean into data-driven strategies and executions and identify trends and data points that impact program performance and messaging
  • Collaborate across different roles and functions within the agency and with agency partners
  • Lead a small team of junior talent to execute evergreen, journey, campaign, and ad-hoc emails in partnership with the client’s global organization
  • Be a positive, trusted client partner

Skills and Experience

  • 6-8 years of experience in a strategic marketing role – media or digital marketing strategy
  • Developing and supporting marketing strategies that are data-led and deliver on performance results and client business objectives
  • Team leadership with senior-level clients and potential new business
  • Working on projects to ensure they are meeting internal and client expectations
  • Experience in media strategy or communications planning is a plus
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience working across marketing channels
  • Experience using touchpoint planning and audience insight tools, such as MRI/Simmons, Helixa, Global Web Index, Infegy, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead employees and teams
  • Demonstrated success with client relationships, team management and business development
  • Comfort level forging new ways of working and collaborating in a highly matrixed environment
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Focused attention to detail
