We work collaboratively with creative, digital, medical education and communication teams to combine scientific rigor and Payer insights for our clients. We specialize in Market Access strategy and Value Communications.

Our team delivers on a variety of projects, ranging from negotiations workshops, advisory boards, payer value propositions, health technology appraisals and policy engagement programs across many therapy areas including Rare Diseases, RA, Oncology and Hematology.

Due to significant growth, we are now looking to add Management Consultants to the existing team to provide strong scientific / clinical / HEOR / Access leadership.

Working independently and with senior partnership leads, you will shape, develop and deliver effective strategies, projects, content and programs that meet client objectives, budgets, and timelines. In addition, you will contribute to the further development of the Chief Medical Office, helping with the development of global proposals and projects and working with, and often leading bespoke Chief Medical Office teams developed through including expert talents from across the VMLY&Rx agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrable success in driving business development (growth) with the life sciences industry in a consulting / agency environment
  • Excellent experience in project initiation and execution through having effective proposal development skills and knowledge and a passion for outcomes-based solutions
  • Strong scientific / clinical experience and a passion and inquisitiveness for new innovations in healthcare
  • Excellence in clinical, scientific and analytical research with a focus on the development of core communications platforms and tools
  • An understanding of the roles and responsibilities of product development and commercialization and extensive experience of pre-launch and post-launch strategy and tactics
  • Experience of working with global, regional and local client stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of differences in healthcare systems in key international markets and potential implications of key policy changes on product development and implications for clinical, commercial and medical teams
  • Experience of matrix team working and remote project management leadership and operating as a team player in such working matrices
  • Strong project leadership / management, communication and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers and stakeholders through matrix leadership
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior team members
  • Proven writing competence and an excellent command of English (spoken/written); second language an advantage

Required Skills & Experience

  • Qualified to Degree level (Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences) with preferable postgraduate degree PhD or MBA
