As a Senior Strategist, you will support a Director/Group Director to determine research needs and support numerous launch projects for the organization. You will work very closely with and collaborate with creative teams. Like all strategists on our team, you’ll be expected to inspire change through innate curiosity, a drive for impact, and an orientation that puts strategy into immediate action.

Core Responsibilities

  • Prioritize research objectives, recommend methodologies. Manage research logistics; Craft research proposals, screeners, DGs
  • Analyze key findings and summarize insights and implications
  • Independently create category/competitive analyses which highlight future trends, critical success factors and recommended actions
  • Independently use market research and/or client input to build a basic journey and identify key pain points.
  • Uncover attitudes, behavior and preferences at critical points that can be influenced by a brand
  • Mine research to and generate insights that can inform positioning, strategy, and communication
  • Build understanding of positioning fundamentals (i.e. identifying target needs, brand benefits and RTBs). Formulate a positioning statement, drawing on brand and competitive learnings; With guidance, create differentiated positioning statements
  • With guidance, draft creative brief and background briefing documents
  • Participate in creative review meetings and provide constructive feedback to creatives
  • Prepare proposals & workshop exercises; Responsible for workshop logistics, note-taking and drafting summary of outcomes
  • Identify research needs, generate customer insights, and story arc. Helps prepare critical elements/sections of the pitch deck

Skills & Experiences

  • 3+ years’ experience of overall research and strategic planning experience
  • HCP and DTC marketing agency experience
  • Critical and analytical thinker, innovator and visionary that inspires creativity
  • Highly collaborative and able to work effectively across internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and a multidisciplinary background, including developing business strategy, marketing strategy, consumer insight, and/or account planning
  • MBA is preferred

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60.000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
