The Opportunity:   

Our team is seeking a Growth Marketing Lead to help Vivid Seats maximize existing growth channels and add new performance channels that drive incremental revenue/margin.  This is a key role and will open up “never before done” channels & methods for Vivid Seats as we continue our impressive growth.  This role will also help spearhead customer acquisition for our newest app in the daily fantasy sports realm.  Experience as a performance marketing generalist/growth hacker—and deep knowledge of 2-3 key channels is necessary—as is an experimental mindset coupled with entrepreneurial drive.  This role requires ‘left and right-brained’ thinking—creative ideation + keen analysis skills. 

How your role contributes to the success of Vivid Seats: 

  • Run Vivid Seats marketing campaigns end-to-end across affiliate, re-targeting/programmatic, mobile, and other performance channels 
  • Run Betcha (Daily Fantasy Sports) campaigns end-to-end across affiliate, programmatic, social, mobile and other channels 
  • Design experiments, develop strategies, and drive execution of the campaigns 
  • Own the results of ad channels post-launch, including budgeting, reporting, and efficiency optimization 
  • Interact cross-functionally with product, engineering, legal, analytics and creative to meet ambitious growth targets 
  • Work closely with agency partners to drive channel strategy and innovation 
  • Test and experiment channels aggressively to find winning growth tactics and strategies 
  • Proactively share industry news, best practices, competitor insights, and stay on top of evolving marketing technologies 

How your role expectations will progress as a Growth Marketing Lead in the first 30, 90, and 180 days: 

30 days in 

  • Complete new hire orientation, gaining the resources you need to be successful 
  • Learn how ticket marketplaces operate, how daily fantasy sports works—and how you’ll contribute to exceptional experiences for both ticket buyers & gamers 
  • Acclimate team and company norms, business objectives, and Vivid Seats values 
  • Review current marketing strategy and gain understanding of current and planned projects, cost and expected results 

90 days in 

  • Enhance our approaches, methods, or technologies to mitigate risks and improve efficiency 
  • Build, maintain, and leverage internal and external relationships to achieve progress and advance objectives 
  • Dive deep into the data and share input in daily stand-ups and weekly performance reviews, and comfortable making recommendations and highlighting insights 
  • Analyze media spend mix across channels and work to drive higher effectiveness & efficiency out of campaigns 
  • Work to significantly optimize retargeting campaign structure, and conduct tests to drive future performance (various DSPs, hold-out tests, etc.) 
  • Identify scalable channels within the DFS space and work to accelerate spend while maintaining efficiency 

180 days in  

  • Design and implement process improvements that positively impact the team 
  • Mentor others, playing an active role in elevating the skill sets of those you work with 
  • Establish standard operating procedures for testing to effectively challenge legacy strategies and promote innovative ideas across performance channels 
  • Compile industry challenges, news, opportunities, and trends for the team to utilize towards greater strategy development and optimization 
  • Continue to onboard new performance marketing channels and measure incremental impact 

What You will Bring: 

  • 3-6 years with demonstrated success as a performance marketer/growth hacker 
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing and optimization and hands-on knowledge in biddable media channels, with deep expertise in at LEAST two of the following: affiliate, programmatic, social, mobile 
  • Experience with widely used platforms in performance marketing such as Google Ads, DV 360, Criteo, Impact Radius, Facebook Ads Manager, etc. 
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Data Studio, Looker—and exposure to measurement/ incrementality/ attribution platforms. 
  • Prior use of MMPs (ex. Branch, Adjust, Apps Flyer) and Google Universal App Campaigns, Apple Search Ads, Facebook App Install Campaigns, etc. 
  • Experience in dynamic/high-velocity environments (travel industry/OTAs or ecommerce etc.) is highly desired but not essential 
  • A bias for action: you like to get things done, and you can analyze information, provide clarity back to the business and take ownership of outcomes 
  • Bonus A passion for our key verticals—music & sports, with an understanding of sports or gaming mechanics
