VitalSource®, is hiring a Financial Analyst to contribute to our Finance team located in either Nashville, Tennessee or Raleigh, North Carolina. This is a hybrid role that includes a combination of in-office days and remote work.

In this role as a Financial Analyst, you will be tasked with delivering financial planning and analysis support, performing financial analysis, and assisting with sales budgeting, forecasting, and corporate reporting activities. This role provides visibility to senior leadership and cross-functional teams and will be instrumental in the success of the FP&A function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists Director & VP, FP&A in gathering, analyzing, and presenting data to management to assist in decision-making. 
• Develops and maintains financial models used for business planning and forecasting.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and presentations for management.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering relevant data and providing insights.
• Prepares ad hoc sales, product, and segment analysis.
• Identifies and incorporates trends, changes in operating conditions, and actual results into financial plans. 
• Prepares materials for presentations for executive management used in internal operational review meetings, board meetings and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience within FP&A – Proven experience in financial analysis or corporate accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial software applications; experience with PowerQuery is a plus.
• Comfortable with working in large data sets

Salary Range: $74,000 to $87,000
