VitalSource®, is hiring a Junior Financial Analyst to contribute to our Finance team located in Raleigh, North Carolina (hybrid) or remotely.

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will provide strategic financial analysis, assist with business planning and reporting, and support decision-making throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with in-depth data analysis to support financial operations for Equitable Access SaaS
• Assist with ensuring the accuracy of customer-level course material demand planning
• Assist the Senior Financial Analyst in reviewing invoices for accuracy and punctuality
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and financial decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data effectively
• Streamline billing processes to enhance operational efficiency and ways to improve
• Continuously monitor and analyze industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth
• Perform due diligence with financial reporting, regulatory requirements, and compliance

Required Qualifications:

• 0-2 years experience in financial analysis, preferably in SaaS or EdTech
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with financial reporting tools
• Experience with tracking KPI’s, monthly performance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to help develop and maintain financial models
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively outside the box
• Procurement or Supply Chain experience is beneficial

Salary Range: $61,000 to $74,000
