Language and Literacy Sales Specialist
Description
- Deliver impactful, engaging and customized digital and in-person presentations showing how VHL solutions help teachers and educators overcome challenges to achieve learning outcomes
- Develop a strong understanding of a customer’s needs and use a consultative selling approach to achieve sales goals
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key K-12 education professionals and stakeholders
- Consistently utilize our CRM (Salesforce) and other tools for effective sales analysis, planning and account management
- Partner effectively with internal VHL teams to provide customers with an excellent experience
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of VHLs world language, EL and Dual Language products and programs
- Attend industry events and conduct presentations in order to position VHL within the market and generate business opportunities
- Keep in tune with relevant and territory specific market trends
- Associate degree minimum
- 2+ years of experience in a consultative sales, account management, or business development role with a successful track record
- Strong technology orientation and experience presenting and/or doing demonstrations to a variety of audiences in-person and virtually
- Excellent relationship building, prospecting, territory building, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Experience using a CRM to manage sales activities and accounts
- A willingness to travel overnight as needed within the territory to events, conferences and customer sites (50%+)
- Experience using Salesforce.com
- Experience as a K-12 Teacher/Educator or School/District Administrator or knowledge of the K12 state adoption process, etc. within the territory states
- Experience with publishing, language learning or similar modern edtech products
- Advanced level knowledge or familiarity with VHL products and our supersite
- Working knowledge of the Spanish language
- Bachelor or Advanced degree
