In our mission to support our customer’s advanced wireless technology needs, we seek systems engineers who are enjoy technology research and analysis, developing approaches and plans for WiFi enabled software, enjoy evaluating hardware platforms, mobile applications testing, and integration with other platforms and frameworks using 802.x standards-based technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies. Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and wireless technology; incorporating new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Develop technical documentation including system architecture and system design and use them to guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration, and test plans.
  • Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
  • Be responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience providing design and engineering support to product development teams.
  • BS from an accredited college or university in SE, CS, IS, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related field is preferred. 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a degree.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with mobile platforms/development wireless communications.
  • Knowledge of 802.11 specifications.
