Visionist is looking for an Accounts Receivables Specialist (Biller) to manage the full lifecycle of invoicing and collections for one or more of our prime contracts. The A/R Specialist will be responsible for accurate and timely invoices while ensuring compliance with government regulations and corporate practices. The A/R Specialist will also serve as the main point of contact for billing issues, reconciliations, and audit requests and be the liaison between multiple stakeholders to resolve the issues.

Your contributions are… 
  - Provide invoicing support for Visionist Prime contracts, including preparing, reviewing, and submitting invoices for CPFF and CPAF contracts for labor, materials, travel, and other direct costs, and fee in accordance with contract terms and government regulations
  - Timely submission of invoices through the government platform MPO
  - Monitor invoice status and A/R aging reports to ensure payments are received on time
  - Investigate and resolve discrepancies and/or invoice rejections to include addressing issues with subcontractor invoices and payments
  - Prepare Prime and Subcontractor invoices in the company timekeeping system, Unanet, and run detailed reports to reconcile discrepancies
  - Assist the Procurement Manager with maintaining the materials ledger and creating CAP reports
  - Participate in month-end close activities and assist in resolving differences which relate to the invoicing process 
  - Respond to internal and external audit requests including but not limited to financial statement audits, DCAA audits, and internal recurring reconciliations
 
Requirements for your new career…
  - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field is preferred
  - 3 years of accounts receivables or billing experience for varying cost-types of government contracts 
  - Experience with the government portal Maryland Procurement Office or similar portals
  - Strong understanding of the Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivables (A/R) life cycle 
  - Experience and/or familiarity with the MPO procurement process and life cycle
  - Ability to produce high quality work with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail orientation
  - Ability to work well in both a team setting and independently in a fast-paced environment, while prioritizing and handling multiple deadlines
  - Skilled in contract close out and/or indirect rate adjustment invoicing requirements and government audits is preferred
  - Experience with the Invoice Backup Documentation Data Item Description (DID) is preferred
  - Experience with Unanet or a similar ERP is preferred

Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000
