CLINICAL ASSISTANT

  • You have a permanent part-time position (24-32hrs/week, 3-4 days p/week).

Your tasks at a glance 
  • You assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patient’s charts accurately.
  • You answerpatients questions and ensure the best service.
  • You work closely with Optometrists.
  • You conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients.  
  • You updatethe appointment system after every patient's consultation.
  • You schedule and confirm post-operative appointments by telephone. 
  • You will be cross-trained in the Receptionist position.
A clear view of your assets     
  • You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
  • You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.  
  • You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
  • Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: medical assistant, physiotherapy assistant, optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, veterinary assistant, etc.).
  • You are looking for a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where your ability to work in a team and excel at multi-tasking will be an asset. 
  • Schedule: You have flexible work availability between Monday to Saturday, day-time (3-4 days a week), as well as Sundays on an occasional basis.
