This Position

Is seeking a Penetration Tester eager to join a dynamic and growing cybersecurity team, backed by an experienced executive leadership team with a strong track record of success in the industry.

This version keeps the emphasis on Viking Cloud's startup-like environment and the experienced leadership team, aligning with the position for a Penetration Tester.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced penetration testing within established procedures.
• Conduct network troubleshooting and vulnerability scanning activities.
• Support tactical and strategic business objectives through assigned projects.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with relevant teams.
• Adapt to changing environments and technologies.
• Perform regular penetration assessments for clients.
• Identify and verify false positives using internal methodologies.
• Conduct wireless, network, and web application penetration testing.
• Manage vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) projects.
• Document processes for consistent and scalable response operations.

Qualifications

• Proficient with tools like Kali Linux, Metasploit, and Burp Suite.
• Experience in testing Microsoft Active Directory.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like BASH, Python, Perl, or Ruby.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and other common vulnerabilities.
• Solid understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or incident response environment (preferred).
• Graduate in Information Technology or related discipline (4-5 years degree).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security.
• Must be available for on-call work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
