This Position
Is seeking a Penetration Tester eager to join a dynamic and growing cybersecurity team, backed by an experienced executive leadership team with a strong track record of success in the industry.
This version keeps the emphasis on Viking Cloud's startup-like environment and the experienced leadership team, aligning with the position for a Penetration Tester.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced penetration testing within established procedures.
- Conduct network troubleshooting and vulnerability scanning activities.
- Support tactical and strategic business objectives through assigned projects.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with relevant teams.
- Adapt to changing environments and technologies.
- Perform regular penetration assessments for clients.
- Identify and verify false positives using internal methodologies.
- Conduct wireless, network, and web application penetration testing.
- Manage vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) projects.
- Document processes for consistent and scalable response operations.
Qualifications
- Proficient with tools like Kali Linux, Metasploit, and Burp Suite.
- Experience in testing Microsoft Active Directory.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like BASH, Python, Perl, or Ruby.
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and other common vulnerabilities.
- Solid understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting.
- Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or incident response environment (preferred).
- Graduate in Information Technology or related discipline (4-5 years degree).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information security.
- Must be available for on-call work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
