Position:Victaulic University Technical Trainer – Sales & Product Training


Location: Victaulic Global Headquarters, Easton, PA


Reports to: Sales & Product Training Manager

  • The Training Specialist performs an instrumental role in the education of Victaulic employees by:
    • Leading and facilitating Victaulic University’s internal and external education efforts
    • Assisting in the creation, design and development of highly engaging training content, to support business learning objectives
  • The Training Specialist performs an instrumental role in the education of Victaulic external customers by:
    • Providing unparalleled customer service and industry experience, coupled with a strong technical knowledge base


  • Lead and facilitate Victaulic University internal and external training offerings, including:
    • New Sales training
    • Certification programs
    • Continuing Education Programs (IACET)
  • Use Adult Learning Principles (analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate) to support the facilitation of comprehensive training programs for a global learning audience (Example Topics: New Sales Training, Product Launches, Customer and Industry based training, etc.)
    • Collaborate with Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts, in the facilitation, creation and revision of training curricula
    • Ongoing maintenance of training manuals and course materials
    • Establish the proper coordination of assigned training programs, with internal providers
    • Ensure effective implementation of learning strategies and objectives
    • Monitor and communicate trends, influences, opportunities and best practices
    • Some project management, problem-solving and troubleshooting
    • Exhibit strong technical orientation in training and sales presentation


  • Bachelor’s degree in training, education or related field, or comparable experience
  • HVAC/ Plumbing/ Fire Protection/ Construction Industry experience preferred  
  • Experience in education, training, marketing, and/or sales preferred
  • Exceptional presentation and classroom facilitation skills required
  • Computer skills and working knowledge of relevant software, Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Ability to translate technical data into easy-to-understand language
  • Ability to successfully communicate and interact with internal staff (including upper management, sales force) and external customers (Victaulic customers and outside vendors)
  • Strong project management skills (organization, scheduling, time management, attention to deadlines & budgets, etc.)
  • Ability to work as a team member or independently
  • Adaptability to different audiences
  • Ability to travel up to 30% (domestic & international)
