About the Role

*This is a temporary, contract position located at our Corporate Headquarters in Easton, PA.*

Victaulic is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and driven HRIS Analyst to support and maintain the Workday HCM system including, but not limited to, system administration, configuration, assessing and resolving HRIS problems, and performing scheduled activities. The HRIS Analyst will be the technical point of contact across multiple functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, implementation, system support, system releases and testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing business and data flows for process improvement opportunities. This position will also support other technical projects as needed.  

A Day in the Life

  • Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches
  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate the application of upgrade or fix and the subsequent documentation
  • Assist with identifying defects and enhancements using non-production environments to support business needs as well as define potential impacts to existing features and processes
  • Work with end users to provide best practices and tips on usage including system training, documentation, and support as necessary
  • Participate in future application implementation projects by providing support to requirement gathering and documentation, business process mapping and design, data conversions, system configurations, testing, deployment, cutover coordination, training and system go live stabilization
  • Manage the projects/process improvements, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation and communicate key system enhancements/fixes as necessary to key stakeholders and/or the organization
  • Participate in requirements gathering workshops and collaborate with the internal HR team
  • Design, develop, and support ad hoc custom and advanced reports using appropriate reporting tools for HR Business Partners and other departments
  • Test reports to ensure proper functioning, data accuracy, and proper security access based on established policies
  • Perform security impact analysis for change requests and Workday upgrades
  • Maintain the Workday security configuration documentation
  • Ensure that the Workday environments are safe, stable, and compliant across all permissions, privileges, and access controls

Education, qualifications, and certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business administration is preferred

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of demonstrated experience and knowledge of Workday HCM configuration and business processes, including the continuous improvement of HR process particularly, but not limited to Advanced Comp, Core HCM, and HR Analytics
  • Workday training in modules of HCM, Payroll, Compensation, and/or Report Writer strongly preferred
