Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

q  Responsible for sales and promotion of Company product range in his territory

q  Prospect and visit Owners, Engineering Offices, Contractors and Distributors in order to:

q  Promote the Victaulic System for binding application products in his territory.
(90 % of his time)

q  Demonstrate and explain the Victaulic tools
(10 % of his time)

q  Pursue and obtain the acceptance and specification of the Victaulic System by Owners, Engineering Companies and Contractors.

q  Insure that the proper knowledge of the Victaulic products and system is present in his territory, through usage of adequate means such as: seminars, training, technical literature and technical support.

q  Liaise with the local Victaulic distributor, and ensure the proper information flow is available and maintained.

q  Visit job sites and follow up of installation process of the Victaulic System by the contractor. Train the contractor's personnel in usage and installation of the Victaulic system if required.

q  Handle product claims in cooperation with Victaulic Corporate Engineering department.

q  Provides assistance to finance personnel in collecting receivables on customers.

q  Report on weekly basis to his superior on activities and marketing information in his territory. Achieve budgeted sale and results in his territory.

q  Co-ordinate with other sales colleagues in the territory.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

q  University or College degree, preferably as an electromechanical engineer, or demonstrate equivalent.

q  Technical knowledge acquired through experience (minimum 2 years).

q  Familiarity with the piping business, or show the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.

q  Willing to travel as required. (Average 75 % of his time).

q  Has strong communication skills and professional appearance.

q  Living in his territory.

 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

q  Can communicate fluently in the country language and in English.

q  Knowledge of any other language is an asset.
