Vibrent Health, a rapidly growing health-tech company, is seeking an Android Developer (Mid-Level) who enjoys technology and has a passion for creating new products.  We are looking for a team-oriented professional who has the confidence and desire to work with product teams through the development life cycle – requirements, business analysis, implementation and testing phases.   

Responsibilities: 

  • Design and implement new user-facing features in our products. 
  • Collaborate with designers to create innovative user experiences. Develop prototypes quickly to validate interactions and prove product designs. 
  • Optimize applications to maximize speed and scale, factoring in mobile network latency and bandwidth constraints. 
  • Write client-side code to create fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications. 
  • Build the libraries and frameworks that support large, complex applications 

 

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience. 
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in software development including Java 
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Android software development  
  • Deep technical knowledge of Android mobile and tablet application development. 
  • Knowledge of Android UI frameworks, MVP application design and touch based UI. 
  • Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design. 
  • Experience creating 508 compliant user interfaces preferred 
  • Experience integrating mobile apps with APIs and other enterprise web services and developing complex graphs and charts-based apps 
  • Proficient in working with different types of web-services (REST etc.). 
  • Track record of launching several Enterprise mobile applications with large adoption  
  • Proficient in OOPs and general programming concepts. 
  • Execute peer reviews, interact to gain a deep understanding of technical architecture of application 
  • Strive for excellence

  • Able to work quickly, multi-task and maintain strong attention to detail  
  • A positive “can do” attitude & strong work ethic  
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
