Vetwest Animal Hospital Cockburn is looking for a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team! We are open to offering flexible hours to the right candidate. 

Vetwest Animal Hospital Cockburn is located at the Cockburn Gateways Shopping Centre area, on the driveway towards the main entrance of the shopping complex. With just a few kms to the beach and walking trails, you can experience a great lifestyle like no other.

Vetwest Cockburn is a well-established, small animal general practice in the busy suburb of Success.  The clinic is conveniently located at the Cockburn Gateway shopping precinct and is easily accessible from the freeway. It also has the added advantage of having a plethora of lunch options available for staff to choose from. The coffee selections are outstanding, and they pair well with the large array of sweet treats baked by the impressive nurses.  The team are highly motivated, committed and hardworking but love to have fun along the way. 

We have four consulting rooms and a large treatment and surgical area. Our vets and nurses are heavily invested in delivering high standards of care, excellence in client service and achieving positive patient outcomes. Our wonderful clients follow through on recommendations for diagnostics and treatment plans ensuring job satisfaction and optimisation of patient care.

What we are looking for: 

·       BVSc or equivalent, and registration to practice in Western Australia 

·       A confident Veterinarian with a minimum of 2-3 years’ practical experience 

·       The ability to manage a fully booked consult schedule and perform routine surgery in a reasonable timeframe. Along with this our experienced nurses are there to support the vets in every way possibly making sure the workload is manageable. 

·       A commitment to provide exceptional patient care 

·       Ability to oversee the caseload and work autonomously 

·       Exceptional communication and client relationship building skills
