Vetwest Ballajura - Head Vet Nurse

About the position

The Head Nurse is responsible for overseeing the efficient daily running of the clinic , patient care and surgical case workloads within the practice and ensuring high levels of patient care and client communication are maintained. A Head Nurse also provides a strong central point of contact within the practice for all clinical and customer related workflows and issues.

About You

You maintain a high quality of patient care, veterinary nursing standards and client service within the practice. You enjoy a fast paced-environment and can multitask when necessary. You can efficiently coordinate medical and surgical case loads and consultation schedules throughout each day as required. You have a strong commitment and belief in the ideals, objectives and goals of Vetwest. You are able to support the Practice Manager and Clinical Leader in the development and introduction of new concepts, ideas, policies and health care protocols, encouraging and engaging the team in their implementation. You enjoy training staff and taking a hands-on approach to upskilling the team. You have exceptional communication skills both with clients and colleagues.
