Welcome to Pittsworth – 30 minutes southwest of Toowoomba and 2 hours west of Brisbane. Pittsworth is a friendly town with beautiful gardens and is one of the prime agricultural areas of the world! With a population of around 3000 Pittsworth has that small country town feel but still offers a great range of activities to keep you entertained.

Pittsworth Veterinary Surgery is a rural, mixed animal practice servicing 30% large animals and 70% small animals (please note there is little to no horse work). We have been providing high standards of veterinary care to Pittsworth and surrounding areas for more than 20 years and understand the balance of caring for your pets and livestock without sacrificing practicality.  New staff members are offered support and encouraged to develop their skills from day one.

Clinic hours are 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am to 11.30am Saturdays. We also offer an after-hours call out and emergency service, which you will be required to participate in. We are extremely flexible and always try to accommodate everyone’s preferred roster, which is allocated 4-8 weeks in advance. Afterhours is shared one in four with remuneration based on professional fees. Afterhours is paid the same regardless of experience and you will always be supported by the more experience staff if required. There is also a work vehicle available for use.
