🐾 Veterinarian Opportunity – Hawthorn Vet (South Australia)
We are looking for a dedicated Veterinarian to join our close-knit and friendly team at Hawthorn Vet!

Our facilities include:
- Digital radiography (including dental x-ray)
- Ultrasound
- IDEXX in-house pathology
- Capability for a wide range of procedures, including orthopaedics (e.g. TPLO) and soft tissue surgery

The Role
This is a varied and engaging role with a mix of clinical responsibilities, including:
- Consultations
- Surgery (soft tissue and orthopaedics if desired)
- Dentistry
- Diagnostic procedures and imaging
- Ongoing care of hospitalised patients
Clinic hours:
- Weekdays: 9:00am – 6:30pm
- Saturdays: 8:30am – 1:00pm (1 in 4 rotation)
- No after-hours or on-call work (all emergency cases are referred)
We primarily see dogs and cats, with occasional exotics and local wildlife cases.
What We’re Looking For
- BVSc (or equivalent) and eligible for registration in South Australia
- Minimum of 2 years’ practical experience
- Confidence in managing a mixed medical and surgical caseload
- Strong commitment to high standards of patient care
- Ability to manage caseloads independently
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
