Salisbury Vet – Casual Experienced Veterinary Nurse

Salisbury Vet Surgery is a practice located in southern Brisbane.  We are run by a team of dedicated vets and nurse, who seek to provide excellent care for our clients and their pets.  We operate on two vets per day with our nurses working in consult, hospital and surgery or managing reception.  Our clinic consists of three consult rooms, a large waiting room with the option to separate patients, a sterile surgery suite, an open preparation area and dedicated x-ray and dental areas. We use RxWorks, have an IM3 Dental X-Ray System, Digital X-Ray Machine, Ultrasound and Inhouse IDEXX diagnostic machines. 

We are seeking a nurse who is after some casual hours.  Ideally this candidate would already have an understanding and competency in basic nursing and reception tasks. We are happy to provide further training and guidance for the role, to grow your skills further. 

We are a clinic where teamwork matters, we always advocate for the animal, and have a strong and loyal client base. Our ideal candidate has:

-          Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing

-          Minimum of one-year clinical industry experience and confident nursing skills

-          Genuine passion and care for the industry and our patients

-          A strong team and work ethic, good listening skills and time management

-          Enjoys being part of the customer experience and representing our team
