North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre (NSVSC), established in 2001, operates alongside the long-standing North Shore Veterinary Hospital (est. 1935) to provide seamless 24/7 care. With a dedicated team of specialists, emergency clinicians, and support staff, NSVSC is recognised for gold-standard patient care and a collaborative, supportive workplace. The GP hospital manages first-opinion cases and walk-in emergencies, while NSVSC handles complex referrals, and oncology cases in partnership with ONE Cancer Care, and after-hours care, ensuring patients receive the right expertise at the right time.

Relocated in 2019 to a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility, NSVSC is equipped for advanced interventional procedures, strong ECC services, and dedicated anaesthesia support. About the Role

As a Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will utilize cutting-edge imaging technology to support accurate diagnoses and guide treatment across all specialties.
As well as collaborating with a multidisciplinary specialist team, ECC veterinarians and experienced veterinary nurses. This role is best suited for an experienced candidate, offering the opportunity to contribute to teaching and mentorship while enjoying flexible work arrangements and the lifestyle benefits of living in Australia.

Requirements
•    We are looking for a recognised Diagnostic Imaging Specialist with diplomate or equivalent status (ACVR/ECVDI/FANZCVS). Residency-trained candidates will also be considered.
•    Recognized and/or accredited undergraduate degree by the Australasian Veterinary. Boards Council (AVBC). 
•    If required, passing the National Veterinary Examination (NAVLE).

You will provide a full range of diagnostic imaging services for both outpatient and in-hospital patients while mentoring rotating and stream-specific interns. Above all, we value team players committed to our patients, clients, and referring veterinary clinics.
