North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre (NSVSC) is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join and help grow our established Diagnostic Imaging service within one of Australia's leading multidisciplinary referral hospitals.

  • Comprehensive Advanced Imaging: Siemens 1.5T MRI, 128-slice GE CT scanner, Digital X-ray, Phillips Ultrasound, echocardiography
  • Endoscopy & Interventional: Fluoroscopy, Arthroscope, Endoscope, Laparoscope, Thoracoscope
  • Surgical & Critical Care: 3 fully equipped operating theatres, surgical Laser, Dedicated ICU with 2 mechanical ventilators, VECCS Level II accredited emergency service
  • In-House Laboratory: IDEXX Laboratory, Haematology, Biochemistry, Electrolytes, Blood Gas

About the Role

As our Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you'll provide advanced imaging services across a diverse referral caseload while working collaboratively with clinicians from every specialty within the hospital.

Your role will include:

  • Performing and interpreting advanced imaging studies including MRI, CT, ultrasound and radiography
  • Supporting both outpatient and hospitalised referral cases
  • Working collaboratively with specialists to optimise patient outcomes
  • Mentoring interns and contributing to the ongoing development of our clinical teams
  • Helping grow and further develop the Diagnostic Imaging service

Requirements

We're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively and is passionate about delivering outstanding specialist care.

You will have:

  • Diplomate status (ACVR/ECVDI/FANZCVS) or equivalent. Residency-trained candidates will also be considered.
  • Eligibility for veterinary registration in New South Wales
  • A passion for mentoring, collaboration and delivering exceptional patient care
  • A desire to help grow a comprehensive Diagnostic Imaging service
